Over 55s classes are designed for students in an older body or for those who are looking for a gentler style of Yoga. This class delivers all of the elements that make Yoga what it is, giving students a complete class experience. Whilst this class is a gentler style of Yoga, Leah likes to challenge the students to move towards their edges, but in a mindful and supportive way. This class delivers movement, balance, mindfulness, strengthening, and resistance all necessary ways in which we move the body and mind to help us age well.
Over 55s is suitable for any student in an older body or for those who are needing a more gentle practice. Also beneficial for those recovering from illness or injury.

Yin style of class is deeply restorative, calming, and rejuvenating. Yin Yoga works deeply into the tension and energetic blockages that live within our connective tissue and myofascia. Yin Yoga invites us to hold the mat-based poses between 3 and 5 minutes, using props to support and shape the body. In Yin Yoga we bring the shape to the body, not the body to the shape. With Yin Yoga we are looking for positive stress and discomfort in the body, and as time ticks along the student can consciously feel the changes taking place deep within, taking them from resistance to release. Â Elements of the class will be dedicated to the practise of Meditation.
Yin Yoga is suitable for practitioners looking for more mobility, more mindfulness and less stress in their bodies. Yin Yoga is designed for all bodies and no Yoga experience is required. You just need to be okay with being still and listening to what’s going on beneath the surface.

Hatha style of class is a well-rounded and balanced style of Yoga. Balancing out the opposites of the human form; Ha (Sun) Tha (moon) think Movement + Stillness, Light + Dark, Tension + Release, Effort + Ease.
Hatha Yoga is suitable for all practitioners as there is a time between the Asana (poses) to consider what will be best for the body in this Asana. Hatha Yoga invites self-discovery via Svadyaya, enabling the student to learn, understand and listen to their bodies and make the appropriate choice for what they need from practice on this day.
